Early Neutral Evaluation (ENE) is a confidential process that helps divorcing couples reach settlement in child custody matters. These couples are usually referred to ENE during the Initial Case Management Conference.
During the Early Neutral Evaluation, each party is given an opportunity to present their case to a male-female team of experienced neutrals in the divorce field. The neutrals then evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of each case and provide a prediction of what they think the court outcome will be if the case is not settled. The goal of the evaluation is to move the parties toward settlement. If a settlement is reached during ENE, it is written up into a Memorandum of Agreement and submitted to the Judge.
In almost all cases settling your case through an ENE is much cheaper and less time consuming than going to court. The time and money saved will allow you to move on with your life.
Erin charges a very reasonable rate to conduct Early Neutral Evaluation. If you live in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area and would like more information about ENE or have any questions, please contact Erin at 612.599.8366 or email her at Erin@ResolutionDivorceServices.com.
